Heather Ramsey  ยท  Lake Oswego City Council

Steady, community‑first leadership for Lake Oswego's future.

Lake Oswego is changing fast. I'm running to be a stabilizing voice on City Council — someone who listens first, brings people together, and helps this community stay welcoming, engaged, and strong for the next generation.

About Heather

A Neighbor, A Coach, A Longtime Volunteer

My family moved to Lake Oswego because of the community — and it has more than lived up to that promise. This is a place that is welcoming, engaged, and still holds onto that small-town feel, all while offering incredible schools, parks, and resources for families and businesses alike.

I'm now in my 20th year running my own executive coaching and leadership development business, helping leaders and teams navigate change, communicate better, and build trust. That's the same skill set I want to bring to City Council: listening carefully, building consensus, and helping our community move through change without losing what makes it special.

I'm pro–Lake Oswego and I care deeply about this community. There is a lot of change happening right now — growth, development, evolving city priorities — and I want to be a stabilizing voice on Council: someone who brings steady, thoughtful, people-first leadership to the decisions ahead.

Why Lake Oswego

We Moved Here For The Community — And Stayed For The Same Reason

When my family chose Lake Oswego, it was because of the community itself: a place that's welcoming and engaged, with a genuine small-town feel and strong resources for families, students, and businesses.

My kids grew up in the Lake Oswego School District. I've built my career here running my own coaching business. And over the years, volunteering — through the Chamber, Rotary, the school bond campaign, and LOHS — has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life in this city.

I'm running for City Council because I want to keep giving back, and I want to help make sure Lake Oswego stays one of the best places to work, stay, and play — for the families here now, and the ones still to come.
